OLED panel has the advantages of high resolution, wide viewing angle, high contrast and fast response speed, which can create excellent picture quality performance. AUO breaks through material and equipment constraints and leads the industry in developing 17.3-inch UHD 4K Ink Jet Printing (IJP) OLED panel with 255 PPI high pixel density, exhibiting excellent animation and dynamic image performance; it also has high brightness, 120 Hz high refresh rate and wide color range, showing rich depth, bright color and accurate fluency. Foldable AMOLED Touch Display Technology Inner and Outer Folding Creates Infinite Possibilities
AUO has invested in flexible AMOLED display technology for many years, and has accumulated many technical capabilities in process, material and panel design. The 5.6-inch folded AMOLED touch panel, with both inward and outward folding, can be flexibly adjusted according to customer needs. The flexible touch screen, manufactured with plastic substrate and integrated with the exclusive design, still exhibits excellent picture quality under 4 mm folding radius, and can fold more than 200,000 times continuously, which opens up more possibilities for the type of mobile device.
Micro LED Display Technology Sketches the New Style of Vehicle Application.
AUO is leading the industry in introducing a new type of full-color active micro LED display with 169 PPI resolution, and is optimistic about its potential for on-board applications. Locking the automotive market is the primary entry point. In this exhibition, 12.1-inch Micro LED dashboard panel and 12.1-inch middle console panel are displayed. Using LTPS backplane driving technology, each pixel can drive light independently, showing a more finely high dynamic contrast quality. The display achieves a high pixel density of 169 PPI with a LED less than 30um, and strengthens color conversion technology beyond NTSC's 100% wide gamut. It presents high color saturation, high resolution and high brightness pictures, making it easy for drivers to read important driving information at any time.
Another full-color Mini LED mosaic display uses active matrix circuit to drive Mini LED. The maximum brightness can reach 3,000 nits. It also has the advantages of high contrast and wide gamut, and the color saturation can reach NTSC 110%. AUO uses 5.5-inch Mini LED panel for splicing, which can show seamless visual effect and provide more design flexibility for customers.
AIoT Interactive Multiple Display Drives Intelligent Life
In response to the rapid development of AI, IoT and 5G convergence trend, display will become an important medium of future intelligent life. AUO mobile device panel with three characteristics of interaction, touch control and power saving will display a number of AI networking interactive interface technologies in this exhibition planning AIoT zone.
AUO's 6-inch full-screen optical embedded fingerprint scanning LTPS panel is the world's first (*) fingerprint scanning technology with optical sensors embedded in LCD panel. It is equipped with AHVA and Full HD+ (1080 x 2160) and 403 PPI fine quality. With 30 ms fast response time, it shows extremely accurate and smooth fingerprint sensing performance. For personal identification, such as police and customs inspection, a 4.4-inch fingerprint identification module with high resolution (1600 x 1500) and 503 PPI high-precision pixels is also displayed, which can support multi-finger image capture, improve the accuracy and security of identification, and still be able to accurately image in outdoor strong light environment.
